Circle of Red is a society of women who have the passion, the motivation and inspiration to drive and influence change in the community regarding heart health of women in their community and across the country. Ann Stinson; Circle of Red Chair

Ann Stinson was raised in several towns in the Midwest including Omaha, Nebraska, where her family lived for five years.  She graduated With Distinction from the University of Nebraska in 1965 and taught third grade in District 66 in Omaha for four years and second grade in Plano, Texas for one year.  

While raising her children in Omaha, Ann was active in numerous charitable organizations.  Her professional life included Membership and Social Director for The Omaha Club, co-proprietor of a charm school for young girls, and manager and sales for The Carlisle Collection, a direct sales clothing company.

Ann and her second husband, Ken, have been active in a number of philanthropic causes, including The American Heart Association.  They have also been honored by the Junior League of Omaha, the Conference for Inclusive Communities, the Arthritis Foundation (Ann was Woman of the Year in 2001), United Way of the Midlands, The Nebraska Medical Center, Teammates, the Omaha Community Playhouse, the Salvation Army, the Omaha Symphony, Family Service of Omaha, the Samaritan Counseling Service, and At Ease Founders’ Award.
